Our next community gathering is scheduled for Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at 8:00 PM GMT [convert to local time], and will run 60 – 90 minutes.
BSA community gatherings are informal, online events geared toward social networking, group discussions, and the sharing of organizational news. These events are open to the international Bloom syndrome community, are broadcast on Zoom, and are not recorded (unless otherwise advertised).
Our June gathering will start off with a special talk from Debbie and Matt James about their experience using subcutaneous immunoglobulin (SCIg) therapy to boost their daughter’s immune system. Dr. Edith Schussler, an immunologist at Weill Cornell Medicine and a member of the BSA’s Medical-Scientific Advisory Board, will also be on hand to answer your medical questions about SCIg and the human immune system. A period of open discussion will follow, leading to open discussion of other topics—and socializing.
Advance registration is required.
We look forward to seeing you on June 22!
