Henri van den Hurk
Hi. I am Henri and I’m the father of a 25 year old boy with Bloom syndrome. He was diagnosed at 9 months of age. We have 2 other sons. Our family of 5 lives in Nistelrode, a small village in the south of the Netherlands.
We joined the BSA in 2008 and attended the first conference in Chicago that year. Since then, we have met several other families in the world and are keeping close contact with them. We are actively involved in the BSA and serving as a global ambassador for the Netherlands.
