Hello, I am Tanja, mother to three children, a daughter and two sons, the youngest of whom has Bloom syndrome. He was 6 years old when we received our diagnosis in 2020. We live in North Rhine-Westphalia in the city of Bad Berleburg.
We were grateful to have found the BSA after our diagnosis and attended our first conference in 2022 in Chicago. Meeting other families and persons with Bloom syndrome was a wonderful experience and since then we have actively been involved in the BSA, serving on committees and the Board. I am one of the global ambassadors for Germany.
