Susan Zaslaw

Susan and her husband, Paul, live in New Hampshire (US) and have a daughter with Bloom syndrome who was diagnosed just shortly before her first birthday, in 2005. After attending a Bloom syndrome conference in 2008, where they met other Bloom syndrome families for the first time, Susan and Paul founded the Bloom Syndrome Association (BSA) as a nonprofit organization in 2012, and launched the BSA website in 2014 to provide an online resource for the Bloom syndrome community to find information and support.

Susan earned her BA in Liberal Studies at Norwich University in Vermont (US) and currently works at Princeton University in New Jersey (US) as an IT consultant. Her professional background is in strategic planning and IT project management. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities, especially hiking and camping with her family.
