Join the Bloom Syndrome Association’s Board of Directors: Make a Meaningful Impact in Our Community

Are you passionate about supporting individuals and families affected by Bloom syndrome? Do you want to make a real difference in the rare disease community? Now is your chance! The Bloom Syndrome Association (BSA) is seeking motivated and committed community members to apply to serve on our Board of Directors.

Why Serve on the Board?

Bloom syndrome is an ultra rare genetic disorder that affects many aspects of life, from health challenges to emotional and social well-being. As a community, we rely on the dedication of volunteers, advocates, and leaders to provide support, raise awareness, and advance research. By joining our Board of Directors, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  1. Shape the Future of the Association: The Board of Directors plays a crucial role in guiding the vision and direction of the BSA. Your voice will help shape the programs, advocacy efforts, and resources we offer to our members.
  2. Expand Support for Families: Families and individuals living with Bloom syndrome face unique challenges. By joining the Board, you’ll help drive initiatives that provide direct support to those in need, from education to social-emotional assistance.
  3. Advocate for Research and Policy Change: We are committed to advancing research that brings hope to individuals with Bloom syndrome. As a board member, you’ll help advocate for increased research funding, build partnerships with leading scientists, and policies that improve the quality of life for our community members.
  4. Develop Leadership Skills: Serving on the Board is a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership and advocacy skills. You’ll collaborate with other passionate and dedicated individuals, work on projects that are meaningful, and gain valuable experience that can help you grow personally and professionally.
  5. Be Part of a Supportive Community: The Bloom Syndrome Association is more than just an organization—it’s a family! Our board members form lasting connections with others who are just as passionate about making a difference.

What We’re Looking For
